Tue 4th February
City of York Council Community Conversations.
In the coming months, beginning 5th February in Haxby/Wigginton, the Council's Communities and Equalities team will be visiting each ward in the city to meet with anyone and everyone in our new Community Conversations initiative.

We would like to give the businesses and communities of York an opportunity to voice their opinions, whether it is regarding the local ward, or the city as a whole. In attendance at each event will be Cllr James Alexander, Leader of the Council, a cabinet member, the councillors for your ward, a senior officer from the Council Management Team and a representative from our Communities and Equalities team. Details of each event will be advertised across all of the Council's forms of communication, such as Your Voice, Facebook/Twitter, the CYC website and on ward notice boards. For a list of meeting dates visit.

Community Conversations are to be held in each ward across the city in the coming year to give you the opportunity to speak to your ward councillors, the Council Leader and a senior council manager. Details of dates for the first round of conversations can be found here - watch out for new dates as they are announced.
