Vocabulous is an interactive and enjoyable website designed for schools to enhance English vocabulary skills for students aged 9-13. The program utilises Latin and Greek root words to teach word patterns, enabling students to decipher the meaning of unfamiliar words that share the same root. For instance, the root “scrip-” meaning “write” can aid students in understanding words like “inscription,” “manuscript,” and “prescription.”
I’m looking forward to being involved in the Phase One programme, working with other local entrepreneurs and bringing Vocabulous to many more students!
