UK STEM Ltd provides educational services to schools and companies. We are focussed around the contextualisation through real world problems of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. UK STEM works with software and hardware designers to deliver unique activities designed that maximise learner engagement.
STEM audit – 1- or 2-day review of staff skills and resources followed by development plan, teacher training and impact evaluation.
Provision of STEM resources and detailed delivery plans, either related to or independent of STEM audit. UK STEM is currently responding to and supporting educational partners in meeting the rising global interest in coding, robotics, and data logging.
Provision of STEM accreditation through the Global STEM Award. This award programme motivates pupils into completing a range of STEM projects based in a range of global locations. The award programme is delivered in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, Children’s University, Big Bang competition, Denford, Mindsets and the University of Hull.
Students summer STEM camps in the UK. Bespoke packages that combine STEM activities with university and cultural visits.
Design and delivery of bespoke educational engagement activities, educational consultancy services and teambuilding activities. Recent clients include the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB), North Lindsey College and Innogy Renewables.
The company director, Mike Cargill has extensive educational and engineering experience. UK STEM is a small but highly focussed team working with educational partners to deliver excellent service.
