I am an architect, designer and historic buildings consultant with a passion for conserving and enhancing the historic built environment and for the careful intervention of alterations and new buildings into historic settings.

Until recently I was a Director of Holland Brown Architects Ltd, but now I am the principal of my own small firm concentrating on a range of conservation and heritage-based projects, historic and listed buildings and residential projects.

Throughout my forty year career I have been involved with some of the most architecturally and historically significant buildings and sites in the country and has led and run a large number of projects for a wide range of clients including The National Trust, English Heritage, Local Authorities, Private estates, Churches, Colleges, Preservation Trusts and private individuals.

I have been a resident with York Science Park for the last three years and am very happy with the service they provide.
