Child Oriented Mental health Interventions Centre (COMIC)

The Child Oriented Mental health Interventions Centre (COMIC), is a collaboration between Leeds &York Partnership Foundation Trust and the Mental Health and Addictions Research Group at the University of York.

Our mission statement is to develop child oriented research for children and young people. This moves away from a national trend where child and adolescent research has been based around interventions that have been used in adult populations.

The research centre has had a strong involvement with young people in designing and running research, and puts children and families at the centre of planning further research.

If you are a researcher, academic, or anyone else wanting to collaborate with us please email: comiccollaborators.lypft@nhs.net
