The deal marks the company’s fourth expansion in office space since the end of 2019. fidomoney now also operates offices in the USA and Belgium.
Over the past two years, the company has grown from one employee and founder, to 28 staff globally, with an ambition to recruit an additional 37 staff in York by the end of 2021.
fidomoney already has 250 clients and plans to scale to around 5,000 customers in the UK by the end of the year.
Paul Kenner, of fidomoney, said: “Choosing York Science Park as our global HQ has enabled the business to enjoy huge success over the past two years, and due to the flexibility of the Science Park team, they have been able to facilitate our fast growth and expansion.
“The location of the Science Park and its proximity to the road and rail networks has enabled us to recruit from York but also from further afield in places such as Sheffield and Leeds.”
