Government has tasked Local Enterprise Partnerships to develop Local Industrial Strategies, with the aim of addressing the productivity challenge by identifying seeking long term priorities for funding and growth. We want to develop priorities that recognise our distinctive places and propel growth that is good, good for people, good for the planet and good for business.

Our Local Industrial Strategy will be built by the region through a ground up, partnership led approach, building regional priorities that every local place can engage with and benefit from.

This workshop will refine Local Industrial Strategy priorities and outline interventions by investigating how we can build resilience to climate change, and drive new growth, by capitalising on our incredible natural resources and unique landscapes.

We’re encouraging representatives from food and farming businesses, visitor economy businesses, the construction sector, utilities, third sector groups, universities, DEFRA agencies, and local authorities to get involved in shaping an ambitious and resilient future for our region.
