Tackling the Gender Balance Conundrum

Speaking at this event will be Sue Jefferson, a former Director of McCain Foods, Sue has over 30 years in Leadership and Board roles, transforming team impact, businesses and brands, now with her own business outperformance and talent development company, Possibilities Realised.

Despite extensive evidence of business outperformance through gender balance, the progress of women into senior roles is ridiculously slow.

“Unconscious bias training doesn’t work!”

At the HR Forum we shall provide insight into the hidden, unspoken barriers and offer simple but powerful tools that can successfully transform attitudes and behaviours.

Leaders accountable for delivering diversity and inclusion, will leave with a new understanding as to why they face resistance to such change, armed with a programme of activity to transform their people and their culture, so able to leverage the many business benefits that result.

We will also hear from Langleys Solicitors, Mini Setty, an Employment Law Partner with over 20 years’ experience in the field, and David Sillitoe, Associate Solicitor, will share their knowledge of employment law to help provide a wider understanding of what employers can and should be doing to tackle the gender balance conundrum within the workplace.

Mini and David will address areas such as pregnancy, maternity leave and the often overlooked topic of the menopause.  They will also touch on equal pay, gender pay gap reporting, and the latest trends in flexible working.

This event is aimed at HR Professionals. Places are £20.00 for Members and £30.00 for Non Members inclusive of VAT.
