We are recruiting a Statistician to develop and critique statistical analyses on a wide range of projects across our company. The successful candidate would be part of our expanding statistical team but would also have the opportunity to work with colleagues in the health economic modelling (HEM), review and information services (RIS), patient reported outcomes (PRO), and public health / NHS teams. Example projects undertaken by statisticians at YHEC include formal analysis of patient level data from either clinical trials or real-world data sources, development of statistical analysis plans, critiquing analyses done by other consultancies, development of utility estimates to be used in cost-effectiveness models.

Our statisticians also develop bespoke interactive interfaces for use in economic models and other statistical tools. We are a health economics contract research and consulting company owned by, and based at, the University of York. YHEC provides consultancy and research to a wide range of public and private sector bodies. Our clients include:

• Government bodies, such as the Department of Health
• NICE and the SMC
• Global pharmaceutical manufacturers
• Medical device and biotech companies
