Founded in 1996, by two University of York Electronics graduates, Kit Digital started life in the Innovation Centre on York Science Park. the company designs, builds and runs software and technology services for a range of high profile medial and entertainment companies.
Rapid expansion over the last decade to employ 165 people with a turnover of £14 million, included a move in early 2001 to its own 30,000 sq ft purpose built offices based on the park.
The company's location on York Science Park has been a tremendous help to the development of Kit Digital over the last ten years.
